Cuban Baseball Players + Manager cabinet card Photographers: Otero y Colominas, Habana. According to local Cuban baseball historian Felix Julio Alfonso Lopez, players could be from the Cuba or Colon clubs. We feel this piece worthy of further researching to identify the team and players. Photograph will appear in his latest book about 19th century cuban baseball. Otero y Colominas were noted photographers in the island during the late 19th century. It is worth mentioning that 19th century Cuban baseball images are pretty hard to come by... we might even use the word, "rare". There is a wavy cut on the sides of the card and a heavy crease in the middle, which can isn't too heavily seen from the front, but is more noticeable on the back. We don't remember when was the last time we saw a Cuban cabinet card of this age!! Approximately 5 3/8" x 3 3/4"
